Episode 12 – Pipers’ Persuasion travelled to Stevenston, Ayrshire, where well known adjudicator Walter Cowan took some time out during adjudicating a solo piping event to talk to us. A native of Dumfriesshire, Walter had an early upbringing in piping as the son of a piper. Walter talks about his family connections in piping, his own development as a solo competitor and Pipe Major of the famous Annan Ex-Service Club Pipe Band, judging and teaching.
