Episode 55 – Pipers’ Persuasion visited Auld Reekie to the wee place of learning that they have built recently, the University of Edinburgh where they found Dr Gary West thumbing through books on Scottish history and folklore. He gave us his recollections on the Vale of Atholl, Gordon Duncan, traditional music and the various instruments that make up the music scene in Scotia. Also his work with the BBC with piping programs; all great stuff as usual!
