Episode 66: Pipers’ Persuasion are delighted to have this Episode on Jim MacGillivray just fresh from his tour de force with Dr Donaldson the previous day. We travel through his Band years from Kitchener, 78th, and St Andrews College. His great solo competition runs, recordings, websites for music scores and tuition and bagpipe supplies. He has indeed had a varied life in piping. His cheery positive disposition makes for an interesting conversation. Introduced by Jim playing the Battle of Waternish(1st line only) in the style discussed with Dr Willie Donaldson. Worth watching The Interview of Dr Donaldson as it’s a nice lead into this one.
